A Festival of Holes 2026 brings together performance, film/video, comedy, installation, sound, publishing, poetry, and public conversation across two days at SITE/less.
This year’s program includes:
Bridge Video Official Selections of film & video, comedy, installation, performance, visual and sound art, publishing, poetry, and public conversation across two days at SITE/less Chicago
A screening program featuring official selections from this year’s Bridge Video open submissions, highlighting moving-image work from artists working across experimental film, video art, documentary, performance, animation, and hybrid forms.
Comedy Program organized with HACC
A comedy section organized in partnership with HACC — Healthcare Alliance for Chicago Comedians.
Unpacked Mobile Gallery at SITE/less
Lauren Iacoponi — artist, UIMA curator, Purple Gallery co-curator, and founder of Unpacked Mobile Gallery — will stage a special edition of Unpacked that docks with SITE/less during the festival.
Installations
The festival will feature installation work by architect and artist David Sundry.

Performances by Michael Workman, Amanda Saucedo, and Zephyr Dance
Bridge Books Releases
Bridge Books will release two new titles during the festival: Natasha Mijares’ Violent Wave, the first poetry title in Bridge Books’ new Allen imprint, and Ahmed Ozsever’s River, Red.
Additional artists, screening selections, program times, and special guests will be announced as the festival schedule develops.
