Bridge Short Film & Video Collection (2003)

A pre-online streaming attempt to produce an art house collection, the Bridge Short Film & Video Collection DVD was distributed largely packaged in a dust sleeve affixed to the inside back cover of V2N2 of the Bridge Journal. Including “Camera,” a short film by David Cronenberg that had not yet previously been released in North America, and early films from Miranda July, among others as listed on this dust jacket image. Copies of the DVD were also purchased in mass quantities by a young Netflix company, when only red DVD mailers were the company’s only means of distribution.
