Bridge Video Partners with Image Union for Fall 2023 Programming

Bridge Video, a division of Bridge Art NFP, the registered Illinois 501 (c) 3 not for profit organization that publishes the Bridge Journal, and the weekly online Bridge magazine at bridge-chicago.org, today announces a partnership with Image Union for starting this fall 2023. Bridge Video will showcase segments from the beloved WTTW program as part of its Featured Films lineup launching at the end of August.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Tom Weinberg and Image Union for our Featured Films series starting this fall,” says Bridge Executive Director Michael Workman. “I personally have a lot of fond memories of Image Union. Before streaming, if you lived in Chicago and wanted to see indie film at home, you had to tune into WTTW late at night.”

“Just like Image Union, it’s our categories that make us unique,” Workman explains. “As we launch Bridge Video this fall after 18 months of preparation, and our new Film and Video Festival this October 28, it will be a joy to relive and share some of those classics alongside years of Bridge research, art, fiction and dance archives, and a slate of new, underrepresented, cutting edge work often passed over by both the commercial establishment and underground alike.”

Become a member, and be first to check out the hundreds of exclusive new film and videos from 30 countries when Bridge Video subscriptions launch this August.
